  1. They will be plastic wads I buy. I have also been thinking about RC Romanola 30gram but cannot find any comments on if they were any good.
  2. Hello peoples. Got to get some budget loads in the morning. please comment if you have tried both loads. thanks ears.
  3. I was on a pheasant shoot only last week with two Americans in the Air force there. They told me it is still closed.
  4. yes, Hampshire firearms department are a joke mate. They want to increase the price of shotgun and firearms certificates right across the board. When it comes to Hampshire they should reduce it by £30. I had friends of mine wait 9 months for a renewal.
  5. if in doubt leave it out. ( Right choice )
  6. I would go with 223. I just like the round shoots real nice.
  7. This week I was on a high bird day on pheasants in Hewin on severn in Gloucester really great shoot proper high birds. Now I had to use fibre wads that I am not a lover of. But? over the last couple of months I have tested a few different fibre game loads. my choice was, Hull High Bird Extreme 70mm case 34 grams of 5 shot. I was very impressed with their performance through my Miroku Mk38 trap gun 32". I have tried hard not to use fibre wads but more game shoots insist on them these days. Now these Hull shells are not cheap, I don't think I would want to be pigeon shooting with them as for the cost. I will say though its a good squib. so to make a short story long in felt or fibre wad. Hull High Pheasant Extreme were my favourite fibre.
  8. I had a new 725 with a mark up the top barrel. back to dealer back to Browning reamer up the barrel took out 1 thou of chrome ****-- up the gun browning said the warranty still applied, dealer would not change for new gun as browning would back the warranty. wanted to take them to court but could not afford it. So got ****-- gun back where you could see where they had spun the reamer in the top barrel. Really ****** off Browning said tuff luck. Sold the gun lost a fortune. Hope you don't need Browning's help cause they are the worst in the world for customer service inc BWM.
  9. My Dear Friend. The hassle I that I have had with Browning and BMW of the years is to long to list. Their customer service is the worst ever. First with the dealer then with Browning. If I have had the money I would have taken them to court twice by now. Good luck with your quest.
  10. Only a few years back I was shooting with a Caesar Guerini Essex sporter 32 barrelled 20 bore for around 4 years. 28 grams 5 shot 3/4 and full choke plas wads. That gun would whack out 50 yard pheasents one after the other if you landed the lead on em. But if you gonna have high bird days and lots of em. Go back on a 12gauge cause its getting maximum for a 20g.
  11. I Bought a Miroku MK38 trap 5 years ago and had a MK38 Sporter stock put on it direct from Browning when purchased. It had me a few quid back over the last five years and it is a great pigeon gun too 32".
  12. Shot a lot of RC Sipe again since clear pigeon went black. brilliant squib in 5 and 6 shot but they rattle me teeth on big bag days.
  13. Old clear pigeon were great. New one black case not so great.
  14. Last few years on RC Sipe 5 and 6 shot 32g plas. Really good.
  15. Used to shoot the old clear pigeon in the clear cases. Don't like the black ones of today. But for me RC Sipe work really well but more expensive. I have been shooting these for a few years now, best I have used as you can no longer get Winchester westerns.
  16. 5 x Teal and a magpie up the river.
  17. Ears

I would have a look at the Benelli M2
  18. Bought this 2007. sold it. clapped in four years shooting. best 20g I have ever shot with. would not buy another.
  19. Really good gun. Had one of the first runs of 525 Sporters. Shot really well. My mate bought one last year and he loves it. The invector plus is a bonus too. I sold mine though.
  20. That was really good article. Enjoyed it. best of luck with the gun looked nice.
  21. Also now in invector plus and recoil pad and g2 wood. really great guns my mates got one. good value for money.
  22. Ears

    Miroku

The most important part of the differences in these guns is comb heights. Mk38 and mk70 and mk60 all have different comb heights. check browning/miroku web site for the dimensions. The mk60 used to have a really low comb to low for me to shoot with it was 40mm comb and 60mm at heel. To me the Mk38 seem muzzle heavy in m/c version same for the mk70 as for the mk60 better but the stocks to low for me. ? you need to do your homework here before you jump in.
  23. pachmayer sporting pad or wegu sporting pad these two I have got on well with don't make the gun feel alien.
