  1. He has moved away to the dark lands of Mordor (Suffolk). I believe he is fighting goblins. We haven’t spoke for a week or two but he’s in good heart.
  2. Nope, I’m out fowling 3 times a week until February 20th then I’ll move over to pigeons.
  3. The problem all started with mass immigration. That equates to shortages of housing schools NHS etc, that’s where the problem started. Mass immigration was just to keep the economy strong with cheap labour, it was never for the benefit of the country’.

I know of a browning waterfowl camo 3.5 inch chamber for sale £600. That’s all I know about it.
  5. I’ve shot several carrying steel shot and lead. I breasted a pink out this year and thought I’d scoundrel one of my pellets, no it was a steel bb on the breast bone, it was a little bit corroded.
  6. Many of his men thought he should have been awarded the VC, but his tendency to punch officers stopped it. He was also an international rugby player for Ireland.
  7. I highly recommend you read the book on Paddy Maine. The man was made for war. The books go all through the Africa campaign and then into Europe.
  8. I have to agree, I was never a Boris fan, but there wasn’t a choice.
  9. I do ok , but some days it seems all wrong. Can be great if they come the wrong side if you though and you get it right😁
  10. I use both shoulders now, if it’s a bright day I’m ok to shoot right handed , I struggle in poor light. I am slowly trying to get consistent swapping shoulders while shooting and it’s getting there.
  11. The game dealer stopped taking them due to bird flu and I can only use so many myself.
  12. I have a farm I shoot that harvested the maize a while back and it was swarming with pigeons, but as I had no outlet I let them be. Well, fortunately I received a order for some pigeons, so I decided to have a go, now as they had dwindled in numbers there’s a couple of good flight lines through that farm. I met my brother at the field around 9.30 and we watched for a while , we decided to spilt up, he took one flight line and I took the other. I set up along a dyke side with 8 plastic shells and 3 silosocks as I had no dead birds for decoys. My flight line was coming from my right and the wind was mainly from behind me , but unfortunately looking into the sun. I was ready to start around 10 o’clock and I was struggling to get any in range from the weak line. My brother was already popping away. I had a couple down and put a rotary out. And I added the next 5 on cradles. The wind was quite blustery and making shots quite challenging, I wasn’t shooting to well and tried not to get to flustered. most birds went wide , so I took the rotary down and that seemed to help straighten the line more over me, so most shots were flighted over the top or crossers. Then all of a sudden it went mental , I was on the phone( loudspeaker) to a friend and he said you sound like your clay shooting. My shooting had settled down and I was taking some nice high pairs. Around 3 o’clock it went very quiet, so I packed up and picked up. I picked 115 and my brother picked 121. Nice to get out and get a few.
  13. Wasn’t it about last season as well , didn’t have much affect on the pinks, certainly trimmed up the barnies though.
  14. A couple of weeks back , I shot 150+ and there was several young ones in there. I try to leave them if I can and shoot the adults only.
  15. I’ve shot some recently, but as I cannot give them away and I’m not for dumping them, I let them be. I have a field of bean stubble I would estimate would be a big bag day 200 at least. I just have not got a home for them, so they’re not doing any harm so they can feed up in bothered 😕.
  16. My old mucker, Motty used 9s at times( bought in job lots) and you’d be surprised how effective they are on pigeons, plenty good enough for decoying.
  17. How big do you think you could drop this way,4mm?
  18. I have always wanted one of these, maybe next year when I have replenished my funds.
  19. I have a bag, has been opened but probably 200 plus in the bag if your interested.
  20. I think if Sunak or Truss end up prime minister the Tories will get hammered at the next election, one slimy and the other is not up to the job. God help us.
  21. Have all the sea eagles died from it? I believe they like carrion, and with all the dead and dying sea birds they should catch it?
