Yes ive got one very worn great gun only fault is the chambers aren't chromed or the trigger guard top tang .good weight just over 8 pounds

He let the dog out for a pee before going out wasn't going to use the dog as he was in a boat ,anyway the dog must of flushed a wounded duck from the edge of the water and she went for it and shes know for never giving in on a runner . I was there when she was found on a wash that's flooded bank to bank starting to wonder if she had been there for 4 days and nights. Gerard and I were shooting welny road washes angle and hilgay ,as the washes are flooded bank to bank we were in boats but walking with them any way we were early so stood talking drinking coffee for a while few people braved the crossing in 4x4 time came we went to our chosen wash think I had a shot at a woodcock flighting over and this dog started to howl making a terrible racket ******* me right of spoiling the flight it did cross my mind was it brads dog thought will look after the flight , thought it could be gerards old dog not taken out playing up ,any way with ear defenders on couldn't decide where it was coming from and I could hear other fowlers about thought that's bad leaving your dog to howl like that ,gerard thought it was my dog as im quite hard of hearing and couldn't hear mine,after he had gone back and slapped his old dog for howling poor ******!. Betweent he two washes is an overgrown wash full of trees more of a willow wood really gerard thought well no one shoots that wash so went to look were the racket was coming from and in among the trees was meg but he couldn't get to her as for fallen trees and felled one but after a bit she swam out to him and as of ten oclock last night she was reunited with brad a very happy man .

To say again you need more taper the flared crimp catches on the chamber .

Sounds like your in need of a taper finish on the mec all semi autos need that in homeloads they go into the chamber better

Yes I like the book to but your correct there were a lot of embellishes in it . Knowing my father and his they didn't like the law and wouldn't have any time for them and my grandfather spent time inside during the war they would shot and sell all they could and any fen family would of bought meat . My grandad had a small fortune when the war ended

My grandfather is in that book the part about the swans etc ,but he told a very different tale to kenzie as to who dropped who in it .He worked for my grandfather and they shot a lot together as did my dad but he said he was a bully and not very nice bloke .

I agree with you the day of the 8 is done and now so is the ten they shoot marginly further than a 3 1/2 twelve but most can't shoot a ten that well, the cases are stupid money. Now the sp10 has stopped production only browing left it will take a while but these are the last glory days of the ten.

Have the same problem with my 425 ,just been and had a fitting the comb was too low having a recoil reducer fitted and a comb raiser to . This gun ive shot loads through and all of a sudden it started beating me up in a big way. . took it to malcomn Jenkins of luton .Hope it cures the problem as its not cheap to be done but by reputation hes one of the best stock man around.

Just my findings on 3.8 mm steel its not up to the job its a duck load in my views .

Hi , are the chambers chrome on the cynergy ive got the 425 waterfowl and there not done on that model . handled the cynergy a few years back and was quite taken with it nearly bought it and wish I had.

Thought i'd go for an evening flight on the tide . The area I chose to try is an hours walk from the car park so I go light game carrier and and a belt with some shells, goose and duck . Got there and the tide was in and still making so sat on the tide edge and waited then heard wink wink looking around spotted a high pink . Started calling and it swung round but he saw me . light was fading now and wigeon past behind me tried a single shot and missed realising bbb at small duck aren't ideal ,changed my cartridges to my 42 grams of 2s and three widgeon flew by and two shots saw one fall into the surf ,back milly, she soon returned with the bird to hand now I could hear geese again ducks all over me choices choices well I went for geese so change back to bbb . Started calling to some pinks and they were calling back , a pair came low over the water and went to my right took the back bird and dropped to my first shot thought that's dead but my follow up shot missed the other .Milly was back in the green so called her up and she came splashing towards me , stopped her and sent her in the area the bird fell she seemed to be struggling to pick it so went back to help was still looking when a skien went straight over where id been . Milly decided she new best and went of in another direction , at this point I was starting to get miffed at my dog when she came back with a strong runner . milly went back to her hide ,she does that, walked back into the surf as far as I thought was enough and could hear pinks again , calling them and kneeling in the surf ,spotted them coming in low over the sea . now im talking to them and myself let em get right in, now there on me picked the lead bird bang , miss they wheel away stay on the same bird bang and I hear the shot strike home and the bird drops out to sea with a wing up, ******, milly , milly come on she thundering out to me . Back, back into the surf she goes an not to long later she swimming back with a nice plump pink stone dead . time to go and I nice sweaty hours walk back to the car with some nice memory to recall on my next blank flight .
