  1. Hi Richie yes its still for sale, if you pass me on your mobile number I can call you tomorrow and discuss? best regards alex
  2. Very good condition, not seen much use. very rare to see now. 28 inch ( i think ) barrels with 3 inch multichoke chambers - currently at cylinder and quarter, i only have the chokes currently in the gun and these can be removed by hand. 13.5 stock with original factory recoil pad. Very solidly built, good back up or walkabout gun. £250 pick up or I can arrange RFD at extra cost, you would have to send me your ticket to fill in. Denbighshire, North Wales. SGC holders only.
  3. I’ve recently aquired a mint Beretta Silver pigeon s 12 bore, it was manufactured in 2016. its proofed….to the best of my knowledge…at 1490 bar although does not have a fluer de lys stamp, i was told that the Italians didn’t always use the stamp, just accepted the proof pressure, has anyone else heard of this? it doesn’t worry me as i know that HP Steel is 1390 proof so I wouldn’t have reservations about using HP steel in the gun.
  4. I shoot these in both 12 and 20 bore and think they are fantastic. when you connect with birds, mainly pheasants for me, they drop like a stone, they kill very cleanly. They patterned very well through my old Browning, likewise with my 101.
  5. For sale…. Winchester 101 XTR Waterfowl 12 bore with aftermarket case ( not Winchester). multichoke ( 4 included ) 30 inch barrel with 3 inch chamber, recently re-proofed by for high performance superior steel ( CIP ) weighs about 8.5 pounds and is extremely well built. I have owned this gun for a year and bought it as a bit of an impulse purchase as I like the 101’s but prefer my 20 bore for game shooting. the gun is approximately manufactured in 1986 , some of the bluing is slightly worn on the bottom of the action and at the end of the barrels , the top lever is positioned at the centre, it has a slight wobble when the gun is closed without the forend, but is absolutely solid with forend on, its never worried me, may some very minor scuffs on the stock but pretty good condition considering its age. im looking for £550 or VNO, similar price on Guntrader and they are not steel proofed. I can easily face to face or am happy to RFD ( my Gunshop charges £50 ) but I will personally have to fill in your ticket. sold only to certificate holders. North Wales. I can be contacted on…. 6. I love the 101’s, in fact Winchester shotguns in general. I have a 101 supergrade an XTR and a 101 Waterfowl that I have recently had reproofed for steel shot, im currently looking at a 1300 XTR.
  7. I have seen a 1300 XTR to add to my collection and was wondering if the parts for the SXP are interchangeable? especially the ejector, as I know they can snap with extended use. I believe the SXP is based on the 1300.
  8. Fantastic in both 12 and 20 gauge, i shot with 32 and 30 5’s respectively all of last season, if you connect with a bird they are stone dead in the air.
