Gobby teen ejected from train by fellow passenger
Muddy Funker replied to Doc Holliday's topic in Off Topic
I'm so glad someone has said it. Jesus some people here must wrap themselves up in cotton wool and never leave the house for fear of losing their licence Depending on IF the lad was swearing then section 3 of the criminal law act covers the 'big man' "A person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons unlawfully at large" Swearing is a public order offence and so 'big man' is acting lawfully in preventing it. The only problem I see is the reasonable force aspect. If those injuries were a result of him being thrown onto the platform then I can see 'big man' getting nicked sus abh fairly soon. He would've been fine just escorting him from the train, not throwing him from it. -
I really like the way he comes across. And love the early River Cottage series. Ate in the Canteen earlier this year, amazing!

Oh no, this is addictive, i can't stop!!!

Not sure about the torsion or dishwasher parts, but there are some good vids on youtube showing someone throwing a Kyocera ceramic knife onto a stone floor multiple times, it doesn't break. And you can send them back to the factory, you pay postage one way and they will sharpen them and post back

That's a right result, about a three year wait where I live. Only another two more to go

Muddy Funker replied to shawn9914's topic in Guns & Equipment
I just got one of these for my HW60 22 http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/riflescopes-simmons/simph3940m-simmons-pro-hunter-3-9x40-matte-riflescope-%5B517711%5D.html With Sportsmatch mounts came to around £65, more than happy with that -
Watched the fight on tv live and just watched this doc, pretty heartbreaking stuff. Warriors like McClellan don't deseserve to end up like that regardless of anything. I actually emailed his Sister a couple of years ago wanting to make a regular donation but heard nothing back, at the time his website hadn't been updated in years so I didn't want to send money to a random account without knowing it would go to him. I'm sure the promoters were happy with the money they made, ******* leeches.

Storing shotgun in a terraced house
Muddy Funker replied to hedd-wyn's topic in General Shooting Matters
I'm end of terrace and mine is in the master bedroom fitted wardrobe against the wall. With a couple of driza bones and swmbos frocks hanging up you'd never know it was there. FLO loved it. -
Another vote here, I love them. Got a pot of Tesco ones in the fridge now :-)

I never knew that, it makes sense really. I don't want to see more ways in which we can be penalised but it's a good idea.

I used to be a car mechanic and I would say change it when it's due. Same as all things wear and tear it will wear and perish over time. I've lifted out engines using a can belt they are tough as ****, but they have a shelf life. Look at tyres, they may have loads of tread and little use but after a number of years they'll crack and go crispy, i see no reason why rubber in a cambelt won't either. They normally go on start up and when pulling away from a standing start. Bit of useless info for you

As long as it's a solid wall and not some flimsy plaster board $hit that'll be fine. Mine is in a bedroom wardrobe and in my opinion it's a perfect location, you wouldn't know it was there. Don't cut corners and don't keep it in a gun sleeve!!! Don't see getting your cert as a right see it as a privilege, that'll help keep it

I'm not going to ask!!!!!

Fair play, you have balls posting this as we all like to think we're super safe and it could never happen to us. Glad you get to keep your toes and good luck with a speed recovery

pigeon shooting in the late50s early 60s .
Muddy Funker replied to Harnser's topic in General Shooting Matters
Nice post, I'm only 35 so this time was well before mine, But I think you may have answered your own question. There probably wasn't any more pigeons numbers wise, but due the inefficient farm machinary you mention grain being spilled/dropped may have attracted more pigeons to the fields. Sounds like a great time, but I'm also having a great time now -
Just been to the local micro brewery and picked up 4 pints of Merry Ale At 6.5% it's gonna be a lovely fuzzy evening Edit: http://kingbeer.co.uk/beers/beers-available/merry-ale/

Avon & Somerset - FLO redundancies
Muddy Funker replied to SilentKill's topic in General Shooting Matters
This sounds ridiculous. ARV officers are for spontanious firearms incidents, not checking security and if someone is suitable to own a firearm. This will not work. -
Own up - who owns a Lab called Fenton?
Muddy Funker replied to Beardo's topic in Sporting Shooting Videos
That made me cry with laughter, it's amazing! Edit: I've just made the mistake of youtubing Fenton. There's tons!!! -
