I've tried every springer under the sun this weekend and have had a PH Dragon Sporter in the past. With that in mind I am now of the opinion that my Fenman .20 is as good as it gets in a self contained package. I did try a .22 Taunus which was just as good if not slightly better. I will have to get a .22 barrel now! As far as pcp goes, I have an FX Typhoon smooth twist in .22 which ticks many boxes. I'm fitting a reg later this week which will solve the power curve problem, and although I'd like a buddy bottle gun, in reality I never fire that many shots on an outing. So if I could just have one....... Theoben MFR in .20!

Has anyone got one of these in .177? I have the .22 version with smooth twist and its simply amazing! So light and so accurate. Only problem is I've started with the dreaded HFT and .22 is putting me at a severe disadvantage! I really want one in .177, does anyone have one spare or want to swap barrels?

I mong fish and sell them at farmers markets as well as door to door. I agree some seem to do it as a hobby and charge too much, but my fish is considerably cheaper than supermarkets and fresh every day! (There, got the plug in) I suppose its the same as most things, it pays to shop around.

thanks for the pm's. i don't know the exact length of the barrel as it is in a permanent moderator but it is the same overall length as my rem 870 with 26" barrel, really small for such a quiet gun. i don't want to px or swap for another shotty. the carts are mainly 3" with some 2 1/2 and 2" as well. i can't get the pictures working here, but if you check out the firearms for sale section on argunbbs, i managed to get them on there. thanks

This is my Bretton Gaucher G12 Phantom in .410. It is a fully moderated bolt action that is about as quiet as you can get with a shotty. It has a synthetic stock, camo taped barrel, sling and stock sock shell holder. Price reduced to £200 collected This is a bargain, 1st to say yes on thread gets it. Also on another site. It's a 26" barrel. Chokes are imp cylinder, half and full. I'm near Redruth in Cornwall.

It is a 600 newhaven which is just a 500 with the c-lect choke. Barrel is 26"
