Hi to all Hoping for a little advice on retrieving . My springer will pick up then drop the prey I have shot . I will be wrapping a dummy in fur and feather in time Balls , sticks ect to the hand all day long no prob. He is 15 months old works to whistle , voice and hand commands . Sit Stay lay down fetch right and left stop whistle . still working on this one He also indicates on squirrels up the tree ,he is a very excitable boy who loves to get there before he has left One leg poised with anticipation, body trembling I have stoped with the balls ect ,now trying to stick to shot prey only ,until I can sort out the dummys Is this a good thing Cheers Lee

done the get up early,last sunday a party of 5 set out to shoot between two winter rape about 1-2 miles apart .decoys whirl birds .woodies feeding hard in the fields.saturday .ping pong.did we get it wrong. dont intend getting up early for a while . Good shooting recommend stay in a warm bed ,let the bird next to you make a nice cuppa lee.

mike yes had same thing happen to me . as you packed whirly up and started spanking . have noticed it has happened on a sunny day. you did not say what the weather cond where . not that it can matter sometimes. you never know what to do for the best sometimes with woodies. GOOD SHOOTING.
