  1. Thanks for all rude replys. i will bear in mind Japrite
  2. OK the .17HMR is an awsome caliber for RECRIATIONAL use. using a rifle every day and you start to see that the .22lr is better. i have one rifle set up with supersonic rounds and i can confidently shoot out to 400 yds even with the subsonic i can shoot out to 300 yds. However if iam shooting at 500+yds i would use a .22-250 every time, though with deer i use either a .270 or a.303 or a .308 they all do the job if you put them inthe right place the .303 is especially good for foxes. Though when shootingmuntjack with the .22-250 i have literally taken the entire head off the neck. You use whats nearest to hand and leagal Japrite
  3. Ive just got a eight week old springer spaniel, and would like any tips on how to train what to feed on ect. Its full of energy ------ when can u introduce themto a lead? Japrite
  4. I ve found hat doing the BASC safe shots course opens up a lot of doors, and it only takes 20 mins. i would take it if you have not already, its good for everyone, and i think, after witnessing a very unsafe gun should become compulsery. Also be aware of other stock, 1 of the places where i shoot is a livery stable so b4 i go shooting i always ask te farmer where the horses, and consequently no go/no shoot areas are. Just a thought. good luck. Japrite
  5. Mine is a biit more tricky. I breed poultry, Japanese, Dubtc and Australorps bantams to be exact. Well...... i started with Japanese and needed to register with the PCGB (poultry club of great britian) for the breedeers rings(fully closed rings wich are pushed over the legs of young chiocks, theyre perminante and impossible to get off. So i brerd show winning Japanese and needed a breeder name and Japrite seemed an obvious choice! i have even got an adaptation for my car number plate! Japrite

  12. Be carefull with WEBLEY'S as their action is diecast and will not take much stress, with their shotguns after 4 shots the action plate cracked! It seems i dont have much luck with guns in two years: 4 shotguns 2 rifels 3 airguns But they do get used every day. Japrie :look: :look:
  13. Go to your ocal airgun club, no doubt some of the members will let you try out their guns if you explain the reason for wanting to. Good luck using a break barrel, i never could get on with them and ive found Air arms pcp's to be the best

  15. Being a wildfowler and a rough shooter, i may only get a handfull of shots a season(pigeons verminrabbits and clays excluded) so i want the best, so non toxic =alfamax bismuth and 3 1/2 TM magnums Lead = anything 3 inch + that goes bang Good Luck with the steel Japrite
  16. Our last Dog, an Irish Water Spaniel, accidentally had an accident with its tail, it was chopped off when it got shut in a door, had it bandaged for months. once after the vet renewed the dressing he stood up shook himself wagged his tail twice and the bandage came flying off. the poor vet was heart broken. it was very fenny
