any whiskey connoisseurs on here, a few years ago a friend of mine bought a whiskey barrel, to make a wall clock, after a search for said barrel he found a dealer online and duly went to view said barrel, while at the dealers he noticed a line of bottles on a shelf, and was told that when he goes to fetch the barrels there is sometimes a quantity of whiskey remaining in the said barrels that he decants into bottles (any thats available at the time) anyway he bought two bottles of black bowmore (1994/98, so he as been told its worth a few quid? any comments please?
