Just a thought but have a sniff at the filler pipe into the diesel tank and make sure you put diesel in and not petrol , petrol mixed into diesel will also make it rev its head off. beardy.

Hi flash the td5 is just like any other landy engine to service oil fuel air filter and oil done.The only thing about the td5 i dont like is the damn thing has to have the guts reved out of it so it does not stal if i had to chose i would take the 300tdi every time hope this helps BEARDY
