  8. does it come down to the kneecap or something? how do you get away with that one then?
  9. pm straightshooter on here, i beleive he has a thread running in the 'guns and equiptment' section showing his work.
  10. there was a post on here a few months ago where a guy had a dead fox and had a sub 12ftlb air rifle. He shot it from point blank and again from 15 yards or so and both shots pierced the skull.
  11. I feel the sentences were a little harsh considering both men were not involved phisically in any rioting, and that the riots they were trying to start never actually came about, so 4 year i feel is a little harsh, however, for the actual rioters caught smashing shop windows and buring cars, then let them have it
  12. i did that once with the magnet arms in spring on the drillings, problem was the squares at the bottom got filled with soil which dried rock hard and meant that i couldnt get the arms back on the magnet next time i went out
  13. now on here there is lots of reports of 100 + birds but the closest i have come is 60-70, so is there a secret to getting big bags or what?
  14. i was in your position and looking at landys such as the defender and s3 but i found it to be equal with insurance with a disco commercial or (what i have now) a mitsu pinin van, 2.0L petrol 03. Believe it or not also cheaper to buy outright £1800 and it has simple luxurys such as heater, radio and digital display etc. My insurance with the NFU commercial is £1300 17 no ncb just driving for 4-5 months. Also it handles most off road stuff aslong as your remember to be gentle and careful with deep ruts.
  15. sorry it let it go about 3 weeks ago, cheers

  16. sometimes they sit in the trees at the peak hours and may come back out again in the afternoon when it has cooled down a bit. If there is a bit of a breeze it helps
  17. so if you had got one crow over decoys, and the op had shot one crow with a 222 how is the end result any different. Yes shooting does protect farmers and their livelihood but your both shooting quarry because you get enjoyment out of it otherwise you wouldnt do it, afterall is not your crop is it?
  18. i dont see your problem? shooting kits is just like shooting branchers in a rookery, trying to reduce the numbers before they grow fully and then do the damage.
  19. not knocking letters or cards but the best way is to go for a chat
  20. located in-between gloucester and bristol
