  3. The chemistry thing in cambridge seems to be quite popular could see the big search lights lighting up the sky in cambridge to do with the chemistry thing from my house over 6 miles away the other night. I was given the opportunity with my sixthform to go and help out at the festival but didn't take them up on the offer, think i should have done now though. I wish i had your son's enthusiasm for chemistry right now though ATB Alex

  5. ive used them skiing before and their a good thing to keep in your pocket for the colder mornings what i do suggest is that you make sure that you boil them for long enough for the gel hand warmer to return to its liquid state or the effectiveness of them the next time round wont be quite as good. Where abouts are you going skiing im off to italy two weeks today Alex

  11. fur and feather in ely have always been very accomodating and helpful towards me when buying guns. would whole hartedly recomend them worth a look at
  12. Im 16 and snapped both of my front teeth when i fell over at 14. I can tell you you really dont want to loose them as the dentist costs are staggering My advice would be to go and see a dentist asap because its the nerve inside the tooth you need to worry about. With the tooth wobbling about this gives bacteria and other nasties a chance to get in an damage the nerve and then that can in turn kill the nerve and cause the tooth to discolour and turn grey. If this happens you may need a whole new tooth which is more expensive also you should be able to get an emergency dentist job free on the nhs if you go quick but if you wait a week or so it could be different. Hope you keep them :o ATB Alex

  17. Thanks for all your replies I sent GMK an email yesterday and they promtly replied this morning but they just pointed me in the direction of a berreta stockist and didnt mention sending me one which is annoying but also fair enough and im pleased that they tried to help me not sure what to do next; whether to try giving them a phone call or just to cough up a few quid and get on from midway uk as they seem to have a rather extensive range Thanks also for the comments about not using the front sight, it has to be said that when i was shooting with it off the gun did seem to be hitting most targets i pointed it at so i dont mind shooting with out it on. It's just the hole in the end that puts me off so i think i will get one some how, just to give me the choice many thanks to all and keep the suggestions comming Alex
  18. I was shooting in the field yesterday and after a few shots using my new Beretta Urika I realised that my front aiming bead was missing I looked for almost Half an hour trying to find it but then gave up before I went mad I have looked everywhere to try and find a replacement but have had no luck. Has anyone got a spare kicking about I could buy or point me in the right dirrection? it just doesnt look right with out one :yp: Thankyou, Alex
