Hi
as a landrover devotee, my automatic response is a landrover, 90's and 110's have lots of room in them, and are cheap and easy to repair,
once you own a landy you become a member to some kind of unspoken club, you will find other owners give you a smile when passing, and god forbid if you stop at the roadside to change a tyre , you generally find another owner stops to lend a hand or just ask if one is needed!!!
anyways enough about landrover patriotism! onto the nitty gritty, my experience of insuring landrovers is a happy one, NFU Mutual give very good service and as landys are around group 2 to 3 , you won't find cheaper unless robin reliants and 14 yr old mini's are your thing.
but if i havent persuaded you to go the "landrover" way, at least get hold of a copy of landrover owner magazine and look how cheap they are to repair and keep on the road!, then try and get a price for another 4x4!!!!
enough said!
regards
Andrew.
