  11. Hey Bought a Pattern Master Code Black Goose choke in invector plus for my Browning Maxus. a bit worried that it is not sitting entirely flush with the muzzle. Does anyone use this combo? and is it just the way the chokes designed? it just looks a bit odd. The Maxus came with factory invector plus chokes, and the patternmaster choke i bought was winchester/browning invector plus. Checked on the official website which says i got the correct choke, but just wondering as i heard they had a product recall on badly fitting Benneli chokes a while back. Cheers
  12. Ok so I have 2 Browning B325's both built in 1988. One must of had a little more use than the other and is a little loose. Only in the opening of the gun there's no movement anywhere else but because the barrels drops open so easily I'm worried they'll be causing more ware in other areas, for example the metal that stops the drop of the barrel. My question is, how easy is it to tighten them up and is it a DIY job. I'm reasonably competent with this sort of thing so I'm hoping it's an issue I can tackle myself.
  13. Browning Masters R/H Skeet Vest & Cap in XL, used twice before stopping clay shooting. Length from buckle to first hole is 40", buckle to last hole is 45" (depends how many layers you are going to be wearing as to how the fit would work...)

  16. Dear fellow 'Fowlers, It looks like my photo of a mixed bag of duck might have made the Browning competition shortlist... any support you have a moment to show would be appreciated. If you'd like to see the UK represented in the 2014 Browning catalogue just click on the link below and <like> on the official page! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=662330410455957&set=a.662330337122631.1073741830.432959043393096&type=3&theater With thanks Jon
  17. Personally I'm a Beretta man as they have always seemed to be the best mounting and most "extension of the body" like to me. My father on the other hand has always been a Browning man, I always found they mount too low on me. Do any of you guys/girls feel the same loyalty to a brand as me? Would any of you cross the devide? Cheers
  18. Hi all. Can someone tell me how models work. If yo look for instance at Browning, I understand the B25 was / is a Belgian hand made gun. Then you have the B125, Japanese made, ITW, and hand finished in Belgium. Then you have the 325, 425, 525 and 725. Are these guns just a progression of the same with little tweaks or are they completely different guns? I may be wrong, but the 686 and 687 are just a progression are they not? I also understand that a blank action costs less than an engraved one, and the grade of wood can also have a massive effect on price, but, is say a blank action 725 basically the same gun as a 325 gun?
  19. Hi I am looking for a new over and under for mainly clays but also for game days and rough shooting, I was wandering if anyone who owns a B725 could give a honest review ( pro's, cons and posible alternative guns thanks.
  20. Hi I am after a browning B725 sporting with adjustable Comb 30 or 32 barrels. If you have one for sale or know of one please contact me thanks. I'm looking for a second hand one or a good priced new one thanks I live in buckinghamshire but can travel if need be.
  21. Hi all, a bit of guidance required. I was out at a local shoot today, finished shooting was giving my gun a quick wipe over with a gun cloth prior to it going not the slip for the drive home and the bead simply pulled off under the cloth. I managed to salvage the bead but after inspection it seems to have snapped off. I guess it will be covered by the warranty. Has anyone any experience with Browning warranties? I see that you need to go back to a dealer, can I use a closer dealer than the one I bought it from. any idea what repair turn round times are like? I assume the broken part of the bead in the rib will need to be drilled out. Anyone got any guidance re this sort of problem! Dave_B
