  1. Hi, I have a MAE T Series Extreme Bushless .22 Centre Moderator in Black available for sale. It came with my Bradley Arms .223 but it's hardly been used. I've put around 100 rounds through it. RFD informed me of make and model and believe the thread size to be 1/2" x 28 UNEF. RRP at £309.00 https://maemoderators.co.uk/product/new-t-series-xtreme-bushless/ £150.00 ONO - prefer face to face so that you can confirm fitment to your barrel. East London Thanks Tim
  2. Ok so I have a number of rifles and am looking for a night vision set up for a 223 I have trawled through endless review videos all complaining of battery life and clarity. I would like something reasonably priced I looked at the Pulsar XP50 £3500 then watched a review video and it said past 200 yards you'd need to lamp it then switch to thermal.. Would like to be able to see around 500 yards, not to shoot just to identify then call in to range .. So advice gratefully received and if you have a dedicated fox set up night vision or thermal that you are selling please let me know Thanks
  3. Morning all. Does anyone find that the Norma brass is soft? I ask as I have been collecting brass from fired factory rounds in anticipation of beginning reloading. I was cleaning some up last night, and I have found that all of the cases from my 40gr Norma rounds have a ridge around the body just above the case head - I would presume at the start of the web. It is not a bulge, just a ridge that can be seen and felt with a fingernail. It is bizarre as I have brass from some Remington and Hornady rounds that don't have this ridge at all. I also notice that the primers are more flattened on these fired Norma rounds compared to the Rems and Hornady rounds I have fired? I'm trying to figure out if the brass is safe to use again or whether to bin them? Full length resizing does get rid of the ridge if this helps. Advice please chaps!! Thanks in advance
  4. Hi Hunters, Before I continue I would like to say I am a complete Novice at this and in no way an EXPERT. My Savage Axis .223 is very bullet fussy and only really like Hornady VMAX out of the box. A friend of mine offered to reload for me and the accuracy increased 10 fold. Unfortunately I am very impatient and didn't enjoy having to wait for someone else to re-load for me especially when you are down to your last 5 rounds so I decided to look into doing it myself. The local gun shop (Sporting Supplied - Bloxwich) were selling the "Lee 50th Anniversary Reloading Kit" which was £119 so I decided to give it a go. Thanks to Youtube I managed to load my 1st batch of ammo but felt there isn't many amateur videos online for people like me who really just want to get started so I have uploaded some of my videos for you to view. http://youtu.be/hlk7mq48xno - Seating the Bullet http://youtu.be/AKobQ4es4gU - Powder Throw/Scale http://youtu.be/ojnmo99X2FE - Powder Throw http://youtu.be/6QzuXE2twjI - Scale http://youtu.be/WgEFTelUV1M - De-priming http://youtu.be/cVOqa2aNT94 - Primer tool http://youtu.be/a1r0IVoLEUw - Priming MORE VIDEOS TO FOLLOW This kit is super easy to use! I am looking to upload the de-primer and cleaning brass using the Lyman tumbler The only extra kit I am now looking to buy is a Powder Trickler to ensure the most consistent powder levels. Please feel free to abuse, comment and like the uploads Kit Used; Lee 50th Anniversary Reloading Kit Lee Deluxe .223 Die set Maplin's own brand Caliper Ramshot Xterminator Powder CCI Small rifle primers Hornady 60GR VMAX Heads Mixed Brass .223 Lyman Tumbler Rifle; Savage AXIS .223 Boyds Laminate Stock Hawke Endurance 30 Scope Warne Low Mounts ASE S5 Moderator ENJOY
