  1. Hi all, Does anybody have any load data for 16 bore cheddite hulls? Paper or plastic- I'm going to buy them off Clay & Game, unless anyone knows of somewhere in the north west I can buy unprimed 16 hulls from. It's for a 1920s Remo Mauser conversion, so 2 1/2" and lower pressure (just to be safe) would be preferable. No preferences on speed, shot size, etc. It'd also be easier if they were fibre wads but I'm not picky! Thanks, David
  2. Hi Hunters, Before I continue I would like to say I am a complete Novice at this and in no way an EXPERT. My Savage Axis .223 is very bullet fussy and only really like Hornady VMAX out of the box. A friend of mine offered to reload for me and the accuracy increased 10 fold. Unfortunately I am very impatient and didn't enjoy having to wait for someone else to re-load for me especially when you are down to your last 5 rounds so I decided to look into doing it myself. The local gun shop (Sporting Supplied - Bloxwich) were selling the "Lee 50th Anniversary Reloading Kit" which was £119 so I decided to give it a go. Thanks to Youtube I managed to load my 1st batch of ammo but felt there isn't many amateur videos online for people like me who really just want to get started so I have uploaded some of my videos for you to view. http://youtu.be/hlk7mq48xno - Seating the Bullet http://youtu.be/AKobQ4es4gU - Powder Throw/Scale http://youtu.be/ojnmo99X2FE - Powder Throw http://youtu.be/6QzuXE2twjI - Scale http://youtu.be/WgEFTelUV1M - De-priming http://youtu.be/cVOqa2aNT94 - Primer tool http://youtu.be/a1r0IVoLEUw - Priming MORE VIDEOS TO FOLLOW This kit is super easy to use! I am looking to upload the de-primer and cleaning brass using the Lyman tumbler The only extra kit I am now looking to buy is a Powder Trickler to ensure the most consistent powder levels.
