06/02/16 - 07/02/16 Gundog Wash and Tidy Up Weekend Norwich, Norfolk. Well that's the season now over and my 3 Spaniels will get a well earned wash groom and tidy up, ready for a well earned rest. I'm lucky that my wife is a Dog Groomer and the grooming salon is right next door to the kennels. My wife has kindly agreed to offer a gundog wash down and tidy up weekend on the 6th and 7th of February for anyone looking to come along for a cuppa and treat their Gundog to a bit of a pamper. Looking for a small bit of Land to Train my dogs on in Norfolk Wroxham area if poss but will travel, with some water dyke marsh ect. Would be nice if I could take my gun also and have a pop at odd pigeon ect. Regards Carl

Does anyone know of any shooting ranges in norwich / norfolk that are any good? After a few years only with the shotguns I recently picked back up my air rifle and had forgot how much I enjoy shooting a bit of paper! Would like to find somewhere I can shoot out a bit further, rim fire etc not air rife range. Any info on places people know would be great!

After a long night shift, arrived at jimmy's (blunderbust) around 8:30 had a full English breakfast cooking for me whilst on route, after the breakfast went and sorted the rifles out, .17hmr and .243, once that was done, practised on some targets before going on the stalk for the real thing! arrived at my dads woodland around 3 o'clock had a walk round, spotted some fallow doe and stalked them for a while but was unsafe to shoot! because of the backstop found a suitable place and waited! munti buck came on the edge of the wood about 80 metres in the long grass. nice clean neck shot using a tikka t3 105gain soft point. Thankyou blunderbust for your help and a brilliant day!
