  1. For the first time we are in a positon to be able to get a new or nearly new car instead of just getting what fits the budget. Mine is ok, knock the mud off it and it still looks ok from a distance when turning up to a customer. I suggested we replace the Mrs's (mk4 golf diesel). She has never had much to do with picking her cars I've always turned up with the best I could find for the money so this time I said its down to her to choose what she would like. Things went well to start with, Her "I don't want to spend the money on a new!". Me "okay then go for something a couple of years old?" Her "and I want something smaller and red!" Me " okay! And?" Her " And what?"
