  1. The 'Beast of Exmoor'- D44 Build . Eats, Shoots and goes pretty much anywhere. Two seats, like a Ferrari, maybe a rural sports car? £11,150.00 . NO VAT She's 2002 so has scars and corrosion but mechanically etc great to drive and use. Space and strength suitable for shoot and rural use etc. Space behind driver since bulkhead moved back. Low miles (106,900 approx) and serviced by D44, new clutch at 99,000 miles or so ago, MOT until Summer 2020. 35 inch tyres, very strong underbody and lifted so significant ground clearance. Raised seat bases (for those over 6’ thank goodness so no need to hang out of window). Bulk head moved back creates ‘soft space’ to store coats, ropes, sleeping bag and bags or where your gun dog might lounge and not be thrown about?. Since it is a 110 theres rear space to store decoys etc or will accommodate gun or similar box? (It was built to be Recovery vehicle for Simon Buck at Devon 4x4 global rallies hence lovely winch, extreme protection, lockable diffs, on board compressor and super underbody protection and great condition underneath. I have removed the internal roll cage frame (see pic) and stays so we could line and soundproof. It bolts back in but recently carrying surfboards etc I have not bothered to put back Cage frame clean and pristine in my barn with the new unused 6th wheel and tyre. Driven on normal roads. (t's a one-off D44 vehicle - built by the recognised 'goto' Land Rover 4x4 Specialist for 'capability'..and who dares...etc.hence custom Full roll cage, huge underbody strength and Radius arms with the 2 spare wheels and tyres, Diff lock set up on rear and so lockable diffs via compressor. This should, to quote a shooting chap,' keep you out of trouble and rescue those in trouble'). Basic list of all the equipment on the 110 from D44 ’. I checked with D44 and from memory they are D44 high mount custom bumper with Lazer RS-4's,40; Aurora LED bar,Bespoke P&P roll cage with inner cage to provide integrity,GKN overdrive, ARB air locker on rear with compressor, EGR blanked, Custom Mach 5 wheels- not regular spec- with BFG AT’s,2 spares; lift with Devo-Tech springs, Koni HT RAID shocks,Front Runner roof rack,ARB Awning,HDPE wide wheel arch kit,D44 steering guard,D44 diff guards and Safari snorkel Plus ZEON winch, remote, and fairlead etc . Hardly used. Additions to the list are; CB and aerial, side and indicator clear lenses and LED lights, rear sensor and soundproofing - see interior shot ie reflective soundproofing on sides and roof. Heavy weight rubber etc in foot wells to increase insulation etc. Only regular interior light but externally has huge light bar on roof and very powerful Lazers within bumper plus LED side etc lights. ‘Exmoor and Dartmoor legal’ but would scare city folk. 2. Hello My name is Paul, i am 20 years old and i am from Grimsby in Lincolnshire. I have recently had an interview for a Gamekeeping Apprenticeship at Bishop Burton college in Yorkshire and I have been offered a place so long as i can find employment but being in the north east Lincolnshire area Gamekeepers seem to be few and far between, i have contacted the major local estate (brocklesby estate which is owned by the Earl of Yarborough) and some smaller estates ran by farmers and the only replies i seem to be getting are "we aren't looking to employ anyone else" which is fair enough but also rather disappointing but hey, what can you do. I am posting here to see if there are any people out there that may know someone that could take me on or actually take me on themselves in or around the Grimsby area?(30 mile radius) I have experience in: - organised shoots as I was a beater at my local shoot (no gamekeeper, it is ran by volunteers) - pest control as I often shoot pigeons and rabbits for the local farmer. - Handling rifles and shotguns I can drive so transport is no problem. I am looking to work within a 25-30 mile radius of Grimsby. The employer has a possibility of gaining a £1500 grant if they take me on which is provided by the college (the government have the final say however as it goes through them + Terms and conditions apply) I am willing to do trial runs I can do voluntary work to gain experience. If there is anyone out there that will be able to help me it would be more than appreciated. If anyone has any offers or information then please contact me via my email - Pldiplock@gmail.com
