Paddy Galore!
Hi, just joined and could do with some help/info for my benelli m3. has anyone else had problems with cycling lighter/ eley loads? mine will chew thru magnums and heavy loads all day, but jams up as soon as i even show it an eley cartridge! just wondering if i should just put up with it and use the pump or can it be 'fixed'. also, got another slot on my fac for another shotgun, can anyone recommend a semi for less than a grand? thanks! Fuji Shooter
Can't comment on the M3 but I had an brand new M2 and had a mare with it. I spoke to Benelli who told me I should stick through a few hundred 36g shells or above to wear it in and then I "MAY" be able to drop down to 28g (70mm). As I was going to use it for clays I got naffed off with that idea and dumped it as soon as I could. There are reports that you can put in a more powerful spring and that helps with lighter loads. Saying that it was a nice gun and if it had of been a Supanova I would have kept it. I now mainly use a Winchester SX3 Flanigan, great tool for under a grand and will eve cycle 21g as long as its 70mm Edited October 22, 2009 by Freakmode
