fieldwanderer Posted November 26, 2009 Report Share Posted November 26, 2009 Got mine wet the other day and it's stopped working My old man's an electronics engineer and says it's probably the chips (I.C.'s I think is the proper name?) Anyway, all dry now but to fix I need to know what they are - deben remove the numbers when they're made, anyone know? Or has anybody got a circuit diagramme for one? If it helps, it's a mk1 8ft finder and the board says mk7 on it, there's only two chips on it (I think) but can't change them until I know what they are - chances are the old man's got some lying around knowing him!
