Goldfinger
What are the best and most reliable carts that cycle OK through this gun.
kev 1
75 mm carts will solve the jamming.......
doctorken
Dont know whether mines a freak gun, but it's cycled everything-21g 2 1/2 inch clay carts to 32g 2 3/4 inch 6's. It may just be new, well oiled, and not had chance to be gunked up or fall to bits...... Ken
kev 1
Apparently there is a upgraded spring which goes in the receiver i beleive, you can get it from Edgar Bros, or just ask your local Gunshop, i think it's about £10.00..... This will allow for smaller loads and shorter carts, If any one on here has had this upgrade maybe they could give you more info...
doctorken
I wonder if there's a stiffer spring in the 3 1/2 inch magnum model that stops the lighter carts from cycling? I handled a couple of different semis that really didnt get on with 2 1/2 inch carts for whatever reason though-seemed to be length rather than load that was the trouble. I'm sure there's someone on here who knows the more scientific answer!
bicykillgaz
i had an escort 3" magnum and it would cycle anything over 65mm like someone else said it seemed to be the length rather than the load
Goldfinger
Been out today and used 70mm Hull Special Pigeon, found them perfect for my Hatsan, I put quit a few through the gun today and it never missed a beat,I am well pleased I will use 70mm carts fom now on,and they are no more expensive than the 2/12" or 67mm that I have bought in the passed.I am now a very happy Escort Hatsan user. royor
Just shot mine for the first time at the weekend. 67mm 28g Eley Firsts were great. I have to use left handed ones in mine though Are you on here Mikky? What were those Fiocchis? They wouldn't cycle a couple of times.
