i am going to get a jimny in the next week or two so i thought i would have a ring around on some tyre prices the tyre sizes on the jimny are width 205 profile 70 rim size 15 speed rating t but they said very difficult to get tyres for this size the tyre i am sort of looking for is 50%on road 50%off road so they said they could get me tyres for it but would have to change size slightly to width 205 profile 75 rim size 15 but its a big but they would be £750 quid :good: does any one no where i could get a set cheaper

Try these, http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m26b0s257p0 never used them but a quick google reveals loads.

Personally I would go to either a 4x4 specialist or (if I knew what I wanted) a local, small tyre dealer that you can barter with for cash.

 

Tyre wise, top of the tree is something like BF Goodrich. For just off road get diamonds on a Suzi (and a very big, light engine ) :good:

id be looking at 215 or 225 had both on sj`s / vitaras / spotraks / fourtaks ect sorry but for £750 id be expecting alloys and tyres ...look around fella cos ur being bent over there

 

have a look for conways, iv raced on both conway a/t and m/t and found them very capable in the filth n on the road ,, they were around £75 a corner also wild county were a good un too i found 5x fr under £300

General Grabber AT2 in 205 75 15 will fit nicely, they are the same tread pattern as BFG AT's. Performance wise, they are as good as BFG AT's and only £62 a tyre :)Another benefit is your fuel consumption wont go up much if any at all :angry:
