Hi everyone, I am sending off my sgc at the moment, I am looking to get as good as i can at shooting clays and pigeons/rabbits etc! and practise alot.

One question is that I want to keep my gun in my grandads gun safe on our farm, in their house. to keep it away from packed house here! But he no longer owns a sgc, so what would be the rules on keys etc?

Also I am looking to join a club close to me for regular practise, does anyone know of one? I'm in surrey nearish to guildford. (milford)

Thanks for your help,

Eric

Hi

You wont be able to allow access to your uns or cabinet by anyone not holding a SGC

If the cabinet is to be yours, [with only you holding keys], you have to be in control f the cabinet and access.

You have not said if you live on the farm. If you do and you are the only one with access then tere probably owuldn't be an issue.

Best way to get accurate answer is to phone your local firearm unit and ask. They won't bite your head off and will state their specific rules.

Overal the ruleis DO NOT BE AGRaID TO Ask. You don't want to get to interview and inspections stage to find out ou have a problem with Firearm Officer.
