Had mine for 6 months, mainly wildfowling with 3" carts 36g minimum but it is just as comfortable cycling 32g load for pigeons.

Paid £160 for it and dont care if it gets wet, scratched muddy etc etc. The only problem i've had with it is the single nut which holds the stock on shaking loose. I swapped this for a locking nut and no more problems.

I will probably upgrade in the future but bought it for when im not using the 10g and didnt want to ****** up any of my decent o/u's any more.

Certainly brings them down <_<

My Son puts 24g Eley Firsts through ours and we've never had a cycling problem - maybe because I keep it very clean (it's easy to do) but I'm impressed anyway!

as stated, you either love them or hate them, I love mine, never had a prob with it, Ive got a 3" chamber, and was told the 3.5 chamber suffers more problems with cycling lower loads, lengths etc

its a good cheap gun, that I aint worried if it gets rained on, mud splattered on it, scratched etc etc, good pidgeon gun :good:

I'm in the Market for a escort, an having problems deciding on either 3" or 3.5.... What are the problems with the 3.5 over the 3" models?

Only reason I fancy the 3.5 is that I will be going into wildfowling but if there more problem than enough I might change my mind... Anything u can tell me would be great in helping me decide.

I have an Escort pump too.My bad weather gun. Seems to do the job and if I trade it in some day it will be because I prefer the wooden stock pump actions like the Mossbergs, not because it does not work well.

I got a Squires Bingham pump from John at cheshire gun rooms for £30. looks terrable but shoots well, and at that price who cares what happens to it. Like you said Vole a bad weather gun.
