wabbitbosher
Hi all, yesterday 11/02/10 would have been Phil’s 43rd Birthday So in his Honour we gave him a 21 Gun Salute 99% Hammerguns (a lot were his) 100% Black Powder I know a 21 Gun salute should be a Military Hero thing BUT! We all feel he died in Heroic circumstances and deserved a Hero's send off It was going to be performed at the funeral but we decided others in the grave yard may have felt it disrespectful I’ve posted some pictures below What a Great send off wb

humperdingle
That's a great idea! I'd always thought it would be a pretty cool final farewell if ashes were loaded into shotgun shells or into a massive firework and sent into the heavens... Might put that in my will! lineshooter
Good send off. There`s a guy at our club that wants his wife to give us some of his ashes when he goes, so we can include him in some home loads and shoot him down range. Nice way to go if shooting is your life. Zapp
I like the idea of ashes in one of those enormous fireworks they let off at the start/end of a display. That would be very cool. ZB

lineshooter
I think a young soldier lost in Afganistan requested the ashes in the firework one some time back.
