The electronic ones (hear speech, but not shots), can cost up to £750.

You can buy a lot of cotton wool ,for £750. :P

Like I said. They were worn by a very rich person, or rather the husband of a very rich person.

See last week's Mail on Sunday Rich Report!!

I bought a pair of Electronic ear muffs a couple of weeks ago, At the Teesdale game fair, for the Grand sum of £45, They are powered by 2 x AA batteries. I was amazed at how good they are when clay shooting, You can hear the trap release and the birds singing in the background. But they cut off anything above 80 decibels :D They are ideal for people who are a little mutton jeff like myself

The one downside is that they are made out of a clear yellow plasitc (so you can see the circuitry inside).

I dont know how long they will last at that price But up to now I am very happy with them ??????

I have the phone number of the supplier at home and will post it if anyone is interested B)
