lineshooter
I reload them in .308, they`ll be ok to get you started, I think the brass is a bit thicker than other cartridges, so just be wary of compressed loads when settling on powder quantity. Try and get yourself a neck sizing die as this could help you get more life out of your cases.
blindeye
yea there not that thick are they .will just have to go a bit carful .
lineshooter
No perhaps its the quality of the brass, some cases you have to reduce the load by 10% because of that, what calibre you reloading, arm yourself with as much info as you can, reloading data manuals etc, read, read and re read, is there anyone else you know who reloads, pick their brains, it all helps. Klunk
I've recently reloaded a few once-fired .308 PPU cases. They seemed OK, if a bit hard to get primers into. Cases all seemed OK, no sign of excessive neck stretching or incipient head separation etc., although I suppose that's not a surprise after just one firing. Note, I haven't actually shot them yet, and it'll probably be a while before I can, but I will report problems back on here if any arise. I have heard of others getting good results with them, though that's hearsay.
Vince Green
The impression I have is that PP cases are very good for reloading. I have bucketfulls in my garage and I fully intend to load them one day but cost for cost I can buy new for the same price as reloading so I just end up buying more new. It makes you vey lazy but come the next shortage I will load them. Somebody told me that the PP factory makes cases for Norma now (headstamped Norma presumably). I don't know if thats true but its feasable because their production costs would be cheaper than in Sweden.
Dekers
Difficult this as I don't personally reload, however I get mixed reaction from those I do know reload with PRVI cases...BUT..the dealer I get the Factory PRVI ammo from recons they are good and buys all used brass back, Specifically to reload!! steve b
privi cases are absolutely fine. My reloads shot a 3 round group in .308 and all 3 can be covered by a 5p piece. This was '100m off a bench at bisley on sunday
monkeymagic1969
Privi Cases are very good for reloading and a £26 per 100 for new brass, they are a bargain too ( don't know how true it is, but in have heard rumours that the cases are in actual fact Lapua). poole Harbour
Can only speak for 223 cal and no problems at all , have reloaded some of mine 5 times and only neck sized them using Redding "S" type die . no sign of stress . As for primers being difficult I have had no issues using a lee hand primer altough my wrist aches after doing
Mr_Logic
They're OK. In terms of accuracy they're pretty good. Harder than most brass I use, especially in 308, so can be a pain to size well. Winchester and Lapua are better, Lapua much better, and also Nosler. However, if you're just hunting, then they're plenty good and so long as you have a decent load of them then you should have no problem. marky123
No perhaps its the quality of the brass, some cases you have to reduce the load by 10% because of that. I think its because of the difference in brass internal volume rather than the brass metallurgy MARK
lineshooter
Yes Mark, thats what I meant, internal volume is different to say Winchester or Lapua.
