This is approximately 1200 acres of mature conifer plantation with a large area of unplanted hilltop at an altitude of 1400ft above sea level, there are good open areas within the plantation and a main access track/ride, there are two burn’s within the forest one feeding a small pond which has had some wildfowl flighting, the forest edge is to open moorland. Resident population of Roe with some transient Reds and Sika, eny sighting of red and or Sika shooting permission is for all Game, Wildfowl and Deer. Min roe calibre is 223 Reds and Sika 243 and above Land cleared 308 and above This would ideally suit a syndicate of 6 to 7 rifles on at £1000 a rifle. General information Minimum requirement is 4 days per year Minimum requirement is DSC1 and insurance as this is private woodland it has good access and all you shoot is yours. You will be required to inform me of species and sex and approximate age of all deer shot within 24 hours of the session end. All wounded deer must be followed up. Safety is the number one priority Crop protection is the number two priority No one other than a syndicate member and myself can shoot on the land, All members MUST agree to have their names and numbers given to the other members, Agreement is for one year and you have first refusal at renewal.
