nicholiath Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 My yellow lab had 10 pups last night! it was a first for both of us and all are well! I in intially thought my mates gundog a springer x golden retriever was the sire, from when he stayed on new years, he is black and when the pups were black i again thought he was the sire. However, the plot thickens, i have had problems with next doors Rhodesian ridgeback ( he is sandy red colour )breaking in in the past but thought we had cured his ingress! I don't know why the pups are so dark as my lab is yellow and the ridge back is a ginger colour maybe they will lighten as they grow.
