Doubt if there are enough cows round me to justify it anymore. I hope so, just found out today that my inlaws aplaca's are to be slaughtered. They had 150 this time last year and now there is only going 8 left after the last test....Sadly every farm in the area now has TB or has had and it keeps coming back. Vince Green
The chances of the men from the ministry being able to locate all the badgers in an area is the weak link in the plan. Even if they could locate half it would be quite an achievement. Badgers are discrete and secretive creatures. CharlieT
They are never going to take them off the protected list, all that will happen is that the ministry will trap and cull in TB hot spot areas.

They might be discrete, but dog walkers like myself always come across their sets.I stumbled upon another recently which out walking my pooch! Perhaps the ministry ought to employ people like myself to show them where they are?
