Right lads. Just a quick question.

 

I work in a RFD and i am being granted a FAC for a .22lr

 

Can my boss GIVE me a rifle from the shop ?

 

I read in my little gun law book that i can be but does anyone know any different ?

If you work for a RFD and have been Granted a FAC then I can but assume you have passed all the tests and are old enough.

The old blue FACs used to say "State reason for transfer eg lent, given or sold"

 

Years ago you also used to see FACs with authority to acquire "one C/F rifle up to cal .308" on them as well. Much more sensible IMO. when did that stop?

**** me Vince, I thought I was old but I don't remember any of that, I remember the length of them going up from 3 to 5 years or was it 4 to 5 years...ok I blame it on the lack of sleep and glass of wine!

 

The lent given sold business is still wording they want to know about, but more in relation to SGC!! :lol:
