scotland rifles
Well lads they have to be looked through to be beleived. the glass is the top of the pile, after all these where built for special units to use and boy is the glass good. i think at £700 each they are a great deal for the right person, but a very close offer will never be over looked the ret is small on 3 mag but i have never used a scope on lower than 6 mag and from that point on you have such a cracking ret that is crisp clear and down right stunning, you just can't go wrong. thank you for the nice comments Jamie. after all all I'm trying to do is make a couple of bob on each scope and help some shooting buddies out at the same time. you win some and you loose some. bob. scotland rifles
what are like for low light situations i ran my one on my .20 tac last night from around 9pm til just about dark and took 12 bunnies out to 200 yards, i then ran it with the lamp on the truck, and it made me think just how much money i have wasted over the years on **** scopes, save up spend it once and enjoy (sadly i have never done this until now) bob. scotland rifles
just been asked this question. here is the reply from the makers, I've heard that the reticle in Schmidt & Bender variable power scopes gets bigger as magnification increases. Is this true? No. Most Schmidt & Bender scopes are built with the reticle located in the first focal plane. This reticle placement guarantees that point of impact will never change across the entire magnification range, a problem common to lesser scopes. The reticle appears to increase in size as you increase magnification, but in fact the reticle remains in exact proportion to the target. For example, if the reticle covers 1/2 inch at 100 yards set on 3 power, at 12 power it still covers only 1/2 inch of your target. bob.
