.44 blanks

Recommended Posts

£410 is a very good price for a Russian. Maybe you should consider selling it, they are highly sought after by the section 7 shooters. I'm not altogether sure how the law would stand when it comes to firing blanks in it. They are held on an exemption which allows for collecting purposes only and you are not allowed to posess any sort of ammunition for it, by default that could mean even blanks . Its a grey area.

The best thing would be to look at the re-enactors who have Martini rifles. I believe, but I'm not 100% sure, they have to have them on an FAC if they want to fire live blanks because they don't have an obstruction in the barrel. Maybe somebody on here knows someone who does it.

Yeah I want to get an FAC one day and I only just found out about section 7, so would like to shoot it, but just wanted to see what it was like firing blanks for the time being but anyway .44 blanks are a pain to get hold of. Yeah £410 was quite cheap for a russian, I bought it privately and most I see go for £800+. I could sell it but I could wait a bit longer and sell it for even more.
