caeser Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 I remember reading an article in one of the popular shooting mags, a few years ago, about a group of pheasant shooters that had a go at woodpigeon shooting. They ended up shooting 113 woodpigeon. (Don't quote me on the actual numbers, but if its not exactly correct, it isn't far wrong.) At the end of the article ,the guy writing it said how difficult they were to shoot, and to find out how many cartridges were used, you had to turn to another page in the mag, at the bottom of the page (and upside down.) The number of cartridges fired for the 113 pigeon was :-------------- wait for it :------------ 1300. I kid you not ! So, all in all, you didn't do too bad.
