gwb
in the rules of ESP are you always aloud to see a pair when first in the stand, even if you had seen the pair while standing directly behind the previous shooter, if so would this apply to straw bale shoots also
magman
Maybe wrong on this but if you stick to the rules as there written you can see a pair but you shouldn't be in the cage ?
VicW
I don't think you are allowed to see the birds at any time from within the cage. If you have had the opportunity to see the birds while waiting to shoot you cannot see a pair when it's your turn. Straw balers can operate under their own rules but the one I help at uses the above rules. If everbody saw a pair before shooting it would cost too much in wasted clays. Vic. paulos
CPSA rules apply only to registered competitions (for them to be properly enforced anyway). Non-CPSA shoots and strawbalers can still run shoots by CPSA rules, but it is at their discretion as to how the rules are applied. CPSA say you must be outside of the cage and if you have not seen the targets because you were stood yacking then its tough, Thus: 5.00 Any Competitor who has not had an opportunity to see targets on any stand, i.e. at thecommencement of the competition each day, shall have the right to see one target from each trap for that stand from a position outside the stand. All Competitors should avail themselves of the opportunity to view targets whilst waiting their turn to shoot.
Emmsy
usually its only a pair to the first on the squad, not every shooter and can normally only view from outside the cage
