rigwallet Posted August 19, 2010 Report Share Posted August 19, 2010 I sea,course and flyfish and the biggest fish ive ever caught was off dungerness power station i was with a fishin clubfishing off a boat half of us could uptide and half downtide we flipped coins i lost and had to downtide and any sea fisherman will tell you uptiding is generally more productive anyway to cut a long story short i had first fish and biggest 27lb cod its mouth was enormous never had owt like it since infact now theres nowt left to catch in sea Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ziplex Posted August 19, 2010 Report Share Posted August 19, 2010 13 1/2 cod from the rocks at Battery Point in hellish weather....i'd been after a double figure cod for years so was very proud of myself, had two other fish that night making a 20lb bag. Best bag of cod from the same mark was 5 fish to 8lb. Two nights i'll never forget, sadly the fishing is not what it was years ago now.
