pretty much any oil you want to use; engine oil (dont laugh it does a good job!) 3 in 1, wd 40 (though best if you give the rag a squirt then leave it a min) or any gun oil.

note in the mags they just say "wipe over with oily rag" if logun did a gun oil they would say to use that. but it really doesnt matter, all your doing is protecting the bluing. Some rifles you shouldnt use synthetic oil on and some you should use it on.

Basicaly a good bit of 3 in 1 does the job for me :D

ROB

cheers, i use a napier gun oil wich contains VP90, seems to be good, its in a soft plactic bottle and i have had it for about 3 years and its still quarter full  lasts a long time, but just wanted to know what you all use.

it has a picture of a bloke on the front of the bottle in green holding a gun.

Used in combination with a VP90 patch and you won't go far wrong!

I would avoid wd40 as it affectes the blueing, and over time contributes to stripping it down completely. I don't know why, I am not a chemist, but I have been told the same by a few people, so i am either perpetuating a myth or its good advice.

I have used 3in1 without problems, but now just use beretta gun oil as it came with the guns.

hope this helps
