Catamong
George, Try this link http://www.thefieldsportsdebate.co.uk/Foru...id=1893#pid1893 Should tell you all you need to know. Don't use the trap until the end of March, as it's too cold in Winter & the call bird will freeze to death. Cat

SNAKEBITE
I know there is no need to tell you this George but for the benefit of anyone not used to these traps CHECK THEM REGULARLY!!!!!! Went to a shoot on Sunday and the owners are away to the end of the onth. They had left a larson trap set up. In it was a cat, we let it go but if we had not turned up God knows what could have happened! Sorry to preach to the converted but if this post does one bit of good then it has done it's job. neilbe2
The shoot is only 10 minutes up the road so thats no trouble.... also by law you have to check them every day, so i will be doing that, along with the snares.... Why did you let the cat go ? or did it have a fluffy collar and bell on it ? i like cats! ive heard they taste like rabbit?
