Hiya All

I've recently been told about a waterproofing brick paint that is made by thompsons. It apparently works very well on canvas.I have realtree trousers & jacket, but these aren't waterproof.I was told if I painted this stuff on, it would waterproof my gear & turn it slightly darker, which would be great.I'm off to the builders merchants to try & get some.I'll let you know if it works!

Hiya All

I've used the Thompsons Water Seal on my gear & it's worked well!I tried it on a canvas seat first & it done the job!

Just one thing though, hang the items on the washing line for 24 hours, as the fumes are quite bad!

Hiya Steve

It's just the same except a little darker, which I don't mind as mine had lightened a bit anyway. I paid £13 for the tin & that has done 2 trousers,2coats,my large army rucksack & my gunslip. So all in all,it was'nt too expensive!
