Thats the thing, i obviously wont get it done its probs hundreds but just was a thought about weight, i really love the art but as you say maybe it would suit a rifle better! what about weight? do you think it would effect it in anyway?

 

If you like the style have some of your leather goods done in the style - gun slip, cartridge bag, belt.

it is standard us style leather deco.

 

Not as expensive but may still be pricy, depending what you buy :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I prefer the stock to be smooth, that detail would feel uncomfortable.

 

 

I couldnt emigan you would feel it would you? obviously the engraving will be on the oppsite side to your cheek mount no part of your body touches the oppsite side of the stock, although i did think of this originally!

Yes, very ugly, an American fad especially for rifles.

I was once foolish enough to let one of these guys put an inlay in a Miroku stock for me. Hated it and sold the gun!

OK for the back of a chair but forget it on any gun you want to keep!

 

 

Ah sorry to hear that! expensive mistake to make but we learn from our mistakes :/
