If its on ground you shoot on I would burn it on a hot fire, this is for a few reasons if its bird Flu it will destroy it and save anything else eating it or coming into contact with it. If it has been poisoned it stops lots of questions being asked about local shooters and landowners when it may be nothing to do with anyone in your area. The same applies to if its been shot questions may be asked and the landowner may even get enough hastle to stop people shooting on the land.

The other reason to burn is if it happens to have been tagged with a radio transmitter that some birds of prey are it destroys them so no one finds the carcass

al4x couldn't agree more. If you take it to a vet and it's poisoned/shot someone is gonna start asking questions. If it's implanted with a transponder you DO NOT want to be found with it in your possession mind you that would be unlikely in a BUZZARD  If it has bird flu (which you'll never know unless you catch it) then handle with care and burn, no incinerate, the damn thing.

Definetly sparrowhawk with pointy wings and a long tail like that,

Only thing that put me in indecision at first was the colouration on the breast, which is admitedly similar to a buzzards, however the colouration of sparrowhawks can vary alot .

Cheers
