rimfire4969
Should be fine, you can carry a gun in public if it is securly fastened in a case. Edited March 2, 2011 by rimfire4969
FalconFN
Best to check with the bus company first, and obviously don't take it cocked or loaded! Also, probably advisable not to wear a ghillie suit and scrim scarf on a bus at the same time :yp: .

Matty_Harvo
When I got my first gun ten years ago I came out the gun shop with gun in slip walked past the police who didn't bat a eye lid baring in mind I was 15 at the time and in Newcastle city centre then proceeded to run for the bus. Needless to say the driver waited for me lol and let me on no questions asked.
Spanishfly
Best to check with the bus company first, I am always wary of giving any bigots the chance to discriminate against me. Just exercise your right to carry out your business as the responsible citizen you are.
fenman09
hi lee i dont drive as well and i go to my gun club which is 5 miles away from me using bus or train, and i travel 9 miles by bus to land that i have permission to shoot over for pest control and have been doing so for the past eleven years. and i have never had any problems using public transport i would suggest that the best gun case would be a hard case as it just looks as though it is a key board case.
