New gun's all round :)

Went on holiday and ended up coming home with 2 guns :/ My dad got a silver pigeon s multy choke :lol: and i got a wee s/s A. allan from a glasgow gun makers for nout! I got my first crow with it today :lol: Just a few questions.......what is cylender, improved cylender ect ect in the form of full and so on? Also we got a phone call from the shop where we got them and he told us he rote the rong number on the certificate would you think i'd have to sent it back ( It's on my certif) to get the nu,bers modified? My gun has on number on the lock, stock and barrels has anyone else had a gun like that and is it ok with the police?

But, basically; Improved Modified = three quarter

Modified = half

Improved Cylinder = quarter

True Cylinder = True Cylinder

Full Choke = Full Choke

 

I think you will probably need your certificate altered, if the wrong number has been put on it.

But, it shouldn,t be a problem.

 

I had an old Spanish sbs some years ago that had no number that you could see (probably worn off).

The Police accepted it as description only, no numbers.

This could vary by Police forces, but once again, it shouldn,t be a problem.
