mrpip
Went out decoying today at first light, shot first pigeon decoyed perfect, then the rotar slowed right down, full battery but swapped it anyway, still the same. Its a pinewood the motor must be going down. So turned it off & back to basics, sat for 3 hours watching pigeons fly straight over high, no interest at all in the decoys. Packed up went home & had a walk with rifle just before dark. Shot 3 rabbits but lost 1 kicked down hole, some pics of the dog at work

mrpip
Beat me to it. No gents, its a big old buck rabbit, had a bigger 1 last week from the same warren & it was a doe, 200 long metre warren in the background. Rabbits been breeding on here for years. Don't shot many hares & only in the winter if anyone I know asks for 1. Never seen an hare on this permission.
