broken hatsan escort magnum

Recommended Posts

I thought they came with enough cable ties, jubilee clips and duck tape to keep them working for at least 10 shots?

As for ringing up each year for spares rather than buy a proper gun like a Beretta. Don't make me laugh, my beretta is over 6 years old now and has never missed a beat. It certainly has never fallen apart or had bits missing or broken.

Hatsan Escort - MAJOR FAIL

I think it is interesting that there are a lot of negative comments about the Hatsan on PW. But you google it on the net and majority of views are very positive.

Maybe it is the usual case that no one writes about the positives, but they always write about the negatives. Hence a slanted view.

As has been said before, it is pretty certain that if the kit was that bad they wouldn't be in business. They will sell tens of thousands of them worldwide and the same with any product you will get the odd bad one. I've seen Rolls Royces, ferrari's, porsches, Aston Martins on the back of AA loaders, does that make them all rubbish.... Nope, just possible a poor one out of the factory.

I have personally spoken to several users now and every single one praises it for value for money. The only thing that keeps getting said is that you need to keep it clean, but surely this should be the same for any firearm? Not from a performance point of view, but from a safety aspect.

I picked a brand new, 2011 model up yesterday for less than £350. For me that seems a good deal as whats the worst that can happen.. It goes wrong, I take it back it gets repaired, it fails badly I take it back and get my money back.

I know I will be shot down on here and that is fine, but hey ho, what do I know I am new to this stuff.... :good::good::D

That is what i did. I could put up with the odd thing broken but in the first 4 months 3 things snapped or missing would you put up with that if you just got a new polo out of the shop and the door fell off, bonnet came open and the wheel fell off.Money back i think. The hatsan was fine at the start and i did give it a good review this soon changed.

hope yours lasts longer :good:
