100milesaway
The new Summer league starts on Wednesday the27th of April.9 teams, 18 weeks of fun. The grounds are .Marne, Spennymoor,Stokesley,Gt Smeaton,Urlay Nook,Thimbleby,Foxhall,Hardwick, and Oak Lodge. The format is 25 or 30 clays including supper for £11.If you havn't got a team join us at Marne Barracks, it doesn't matter how good or bad you are, as only the best 10 scores count for the team. Tony at Marne has set a very good course up this year featuring 15 traps over 25 clays, so lots of variety. Check the marneclay shoot website for details. from Auntie. Alex C
Just caught the back end of this last year and was excellent value for money and a good laugh. Also worth a mention is i know Gt Smeaton didnt charge for youngsters last year, so any of you with kids will only need cough up for yourself. paulos
how many in a team! please There is no limit on how many can shoot for a club, but only the top 8 scores from each count on the night Some clubs have 20-30 shooting for them, while some can muster 70+ :o Edit: Hawkeye beat me to it.
