bullet1747
After reading a thread I'd thought I'd ask all the people who take pictures (very good ones at that) if it's poss to take one of the space station

sunshinedave
It's quite hard to take pics of from earth it seems. Take a read here: http://www.gearlog.com/2009/03/seeing_the_international_space.php Worth a go if you have a telescope and camera though
steve_b_wales
I just watched it pass over my house at 21.28pm. Very bright.

steve_b_wales
+1. It gets from Wales to north east england pretty fast! Lol. I think it's travelling 17,200mph. It's 'back round' at 23.03pm. There is also the Progress 41P satellite on the same flightpath at 22.37pm, but I think that's smaller and harder to spot.
Curly87
Is there a website to find out the exact time it will pass overhead?

markm
Anyone watch it tonight, again very clear but about 20 seconds before it disappeared out of the sun light reflection a satellite crossed it's path nearly vertical, could just see it with the naked eye but with the glasses was as clear as day. steve_b_wales
I tried to see it while at work tonight @ 21.55 but too much low cloud. I'll try again tomorrow night.
markm
Have a look on the web pages for guidance. It came over me straight from the west (I use my iPhone as a compass but know west anyway, lol) It arrived about 20 seconds later than planned, although that might be the houses around covering it's path and the street lighting. It is very clear.
