The certs are incorrect. It was made in Japan - no question at all.

Proofed in Belgium? I know the Cynergy are "made in belgium" possibly packed into their boxes there? The citori is a lower cost browning (basically a miroku) to compete with the new entry level Silver pigeon model. Citori was also the name for Miroku made brownings before they used 125 IIRC so citori's are either new or 70's vintage

Just to confuse things on saturday I bought a browning citori 'special' white lightning/white feather, the wood is excellent(not sure what grade anyone know how to find out/) it came in a card board box not a case, does'nt have a gold trigger and the certs say it was made in Belgium not Japan?

Same, think its grade 2 wood. Only comes with 3 chokes as well.

The answer is people don't mis-pronounce Browning... or am I just being picky?
