Fuji Shooter
Anyone on here play Saxaphone. I am looking to buy one for the missus as a birthday present. She is learning to play but only has a cheap entry level one and could do with buying her a better one. njc110381
Don't do it mate! I bought one for my mrs - what a ******* row! Oh my god they're loud. I even bought the muffler thing to make it "quieter". Yeah right! Don't get me wrong I love the music but in the confines of the average family home it's just too much. I go out whenever she plays. gixer1
. I go out whenever she plays. And there lies the perfect reason to buy her one
paul1966
i play the alto, i took lessons for about a year then lost interest in it, still got the sax and pick it up and go through the scales every now and again, wish i had kept at it now. if you are looking for a better quality sax have a look at Yamaha they have a good reputation. Fuji Shooter
Cheers for all of the replies. Managed to pick up a new Yamaha from From a shop in Northern Ireland and even after delivery it was £250 cheaper than anyone in the UK. Arrives tomorrow so better arrange to go out for the evening!! amateur
Wasn't it Thurber who defined the Saxophone as "An ill wind that nobody blows good"
